Gather proof

Collect registrations, tax records, budgets, quotes, photos and project evidence before the portal deadline.

Funding for equipment and efficiency projects

Pennsylvania’s 2026–2027 Small Business Advantage Grant offers reimbursement of 50%–80% of eligible project costs. Maximum awards range from $7,500 to $12,000, depending on project impact and location. This is project funding, not unrestricted startup cash.

  • Applications opened September 11, 2026; close March 19, 2027, or when funds are committed.
  • Eligible project work must start on or after July 1, 2026, and finish by June 30, 2027.
  • Pennsylvania businesses with 100 or fewer full-time employees may qualify. Review all current program conditions.
  • Generally, projects must save at least $500 and 20% annually in energy or pollution-prevention costs; natural-resource protection projects are exempt from that savings requirement.
  • Examples include eligible lighting, HVAC and equipment upgrades, process improvements and runoff reduction. An ordinary purchase does not automatically qualify.

Before committing: check the current guidelines, project dates, eligible costs, required match, reimbursement process and evidence of projected savings. Applications are considered first-come, first-served; an open listing does not guarantee remaining funds or approval.

Can you cover the cost before reimbursement?

A grant award and cash in the bank can arrive at different times. Use your actual approval terms and payment schedule to plan. This example calculates cash timing; it does not determine grant eligibility, eligible costs or an award.

Sample: $500 remains after spending; $3,500 after the expected reimbursement arrives.

Inputs stay on this page and are not submitted or saved. Reimbursement timing and approval are not assumed.
