Two tiers. Different revenue thresholds.
| Tier | Maximum award | Annual gross revenue | Activity period |
|---|---|---|---|
| Growth | Up to $4,000 | $10,000–$2 million | March 1–August 31, 2027 |
| Impact | Up to $17,000 | $50,000–$2 million | March 15–October 31, 2027 |
Impact recipients have required coaching and peer-cohort commitments. Payment depends on completing program tasks. These are maximum awards, not amounts every applicant receives.
Basic requirements include being 18+, a Pennsylvania resident for at least one year, and operating an eligible for-profit creative business in Pennsylvania for at least one year. Revenue must be supported by tax documentation. Required licenses and registrations must be current.
Eligible fields include marketing, architecture, arts and crafts, design, film and media, digital games, music, and publishing. Original creative work must drive the business; selling any product does not automatically qualify. The administrator decides eligibility.

Prepare a clear project—not a shopping list.
- Check the current rules. Review the official guidelines, including prior-award restrictions. Ask Bridgeway Capital to resolve any uncertainty before relying on a summary.
- Define one business goal. Explain the current obstacle, the proposed work, and the result you will measure.
- Gather evidence. Organize revenue records, itemized quotes, a timeline and any permits relevant to the work. Do not upload tax returns or bank details to this website.
- Use the official application route. Start at Keystone Creatives and follow its link to the Blackbaud grant portal. Complete its screener and application.
No referral coordinator is required before applying. SBDC or LaunchBox help is optional. Applicants may apply for both tiers when eligible, but can receive only one award per cycle.
Regular operating expenses and work outside the authorized activity period are restricted. Do not assume a planned purchase will be funded; confirm allowable costs and timing with the administrator.

Turn the idea into an itemized budget.
Start with the work, then estimate its cost. A balanced draft does not establish eligibility, allowable spending or funding approval. Confirm every requested expense against the official rules.

Keep records useful after the application.
Create one project folder for quotes, the approved budget, invoices, payment evidence and outcome notes. Use consistent filenames and compare actual costs with the approved plan. Keep your business records separate from personal purchases.
Our bookkeeping and invoicing guide explains a repeatable money routine. A spreadsheet and organized files may be enough. FreshBooks may suit service businesses needing invoicing, expense records and downloadable financial reports; check current plan features and costs.
